Zero Clearance doors are designed specifically to allow the proper airflow that is needed to keep your fireplace from overheating

Details:
3/16" steel frame
3/4" Standard Overlap on masonry doors (Large overlap options available)
100% welded construction
Backing (or Smoke Bar) is constructed of 14 gauge steel and goes into fireplace opening 2 1/2" (1 1/2" for inside fit)

Hidden damper (slider damper or no damper options are available)

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FDM FIREPLACE DOORS DO NOT INCLUDE MOUNTING HARDWARE!!!

Measuring tips: We always recommend that you take several width measurements and several height measurements to ensure you get the proper fit. We recommend doing this because there may be irregularities in the fireplace opening. You will need to use the smallest measurement for width and height, so that the door will fit.

You will also need to consider that the backing of the fireplace door recesses into the fireplace opening 2 1/2". (For zero-clearance doors, the recession is 1 1/2" into the fireplace opening)
